The Core Skills Science series provides students with clear explanations of scientific concepts. Aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards* Disciplinary Core Ideas, Core Skills Science teaches students science basics for grades 1-8 through reading comprehension activities, vocabulary practice, and critical-thinking activities. In grades 3-8, each book also includes standardized test preparation.
